IFERS proudly supports the Masiela Lusha Foundation which aims to provide homeless parents and their children, food, clothing, and a home.

The Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) offers various scholarship programs to high-achieving students around the world. IFERS has produced successful charity fashion show and scholarship award reception.

2010 Inspirational Scholarships

Inspirational scholarships are awarded to individuals who are inspiring themselves and others to make a positive difference in the world. Here is an example of an inspiring nursing student who wants to become a missionary nurse in Africa to help with the AIDS victims there.

2008 Models Around the World Charity Fashion Show

Masiela Lusha On July 7, 2008 at Universal City Hollywood with Special Host Masiela Lusha, IFERS executive produced the 2008 "Models Around the World" men, women, and children's fashion show to provide scholarships for high achieving students in the world as well as the children of the Boys and Girls Club and The Masiela Lusha Foundation.

2006 Scholarship Awards Reception

Quincy Jones at the AFI Co-sponsored by the American Film Institute and in association with the Association for Computing Machinery and ACM Computers in Entertainment, IFERS presented the 2006 Scholarship Awards Reception at the AFI in Hollywood, California, on November 4, 2006, with special guest appearance of Quincy Jones and keynote address by Dr. Alan Kay.

Three outstanding students from the UK and Finland received the $15,000 scholarships sponsored by the National University of Singapore Mixed Reality Lab.

Founded in 1947, ACM is a major nonprofit educational organization with over 90,000 members worldwide. Led by Newton Lee, ACM Computers in Entertainment has the support of more than 100 leading professionals and scholars representing major universities, Hollywood studios, and Fortune 500 companies. Many of whom have won the Academy Awards, Emmys, and Grammys.

The one-of-a-kind silent auction included 1-hour individual brainstorming sessions with the legendary and visionary leaders Alan Kay (Viewpoints Research Institute), Seamus Blackley (Creative Artists Agency), and Seymour Papert (MIT Media Lab).
