The Masiela Lusha Foundation

The Masiela Lusha Foundation
IFERS proudly supports the Masiela Lusha Foundation which aims to provide homeless parents and their children, food, clothing, and a home.

The Institute for Education, Research, and Scholarships (IFERS) is actively involved in renewable energy, environmental protection, biomedical research, and interactive and digital media research.

Renewable Energy and Environmental Protection Research

A clean and renewable energy solution reduces our reliance on fossil fuels (oil, coal, natural gas), protects our environment, reduces air pollution, and alleviates global warming. We are currently investigating:

  • Affordable and efficient renewable energy devices
  • Hydrogen fuel power plants

Our ultimate goal is to provide reliable power for the world without creating carbon dioxide (global warming), toxic elements (air/water pollution), or anything harmful to the ecosystem.

    Human Aging and Longevity Research

In November 2005, IFERS and the University of Southern California (USC) co-signed a letter of intent for a 5-year, multi-million dollar grant for scholarships, education, and aging research projects including but not limited to molecular biology, immunology, genetics, and stem cells.

    Our goals are:
    (1) To discover the causes and cures for age-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, and
    (2) To extend human lifespan with a healthy, active, and fulfilling lifestyle.

In 2004, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) allocated $6 million dollars for research on longevity assurance genes (LAGs). USC researcher Dr. Caleb Finch coined the term "negligible senescence" to describe very slow or negligible aging. We are poised to retard human aging or even reverse key aspects of it.

Our research will unlock the mystery of human aging and prevent all age-related diseases. For more information on human aging research and sponsorship opportunities, please send an email to email (at) ifers.org
